Humane Society of Sandusky County

We are located in rural northwest Ohio and house both cats and dogs. Cats are our major focus with an average population over over 160. We have 8 free roaming cat rooms that are open to the public for visiting and socializing the cats. Annually we adopt over 200 cats and kittens into loving homes. We accept stray and owner surrender cats and place a priority to sick and injured. We do not have a veterinarian on staff but work with a local vet for all our medical needs. Cats that are recovering from major surgery tend to spend much longer in a cage, your hide & scratch is a purrfect way to add to their enrichment and help them feel safe!
