Cats Haven Ltd

Indianapolis, IN

Cats Haven is a shelter and sanctuary for senior and special-needs cats. It was started by Barbara Wills over 30 years ago when she found a paraplegic kitten she named Phoenix. It was then that Barbara realized there were limited options for special-needs cats, most of them being euthanized. Currently, Cats Haven does not take animals from the public, but rather accepts seniors and special-needs cats on a limited basis from vet referrals and high-kill shelters. We have several cerebellar hypoplasia kitties (wobblers, as they're commonly known) as well as others with chronic health conditions. Due to the nature of the sanctuary, we seldom have adoptable cats.
